I know it's not feasible, but why not raise the tunnel ceiling height on Storrow Drive as long as they're going to tear up and replace the tunnel anyway? The current system of low clearance warnings on every overpass seems not to be working. (Thought brought on by the fact that yet another box truck got stuck on Storrow Drive this morning.)

The power went out last night. I woke up at 6:00 for no apparent reason and my alarm clock was blinking 4:58 at me. Not helpful, much. I reset the time but I forgot to reset the alarms, so I sort of dozed off intermittently for the next hour. I'm having a hard time fitting breakfast into my new morning schedule, because it gets stuck between an irresistible force (the 65 bus, which supposedly has a schedule, but which doesn't appear to follow it) and an immovable object (my determination not to have to get up at any hour that starts with a 6).

The two kinds of weather we've had lately should be added up and divided by 2. When it's sunny it's HOT, and when it's not hot it's overcast. What's wrong with sunny and 70?
