not bad for a Monday...
Nov. 19th, 2007 12:31 pmI slept until 6:15 this morning, and then spent the next half hour or so with Lily planted on my chest, purring her darn fool head off. I wouldn't mind if she wanted to adopt that as her new morning schedule. Her new evening schedule involves lying around next to the bathtub while I'm in it, and in the bathtub once I get out of it, and then going and having a snack, and eventually coming and collapsing on the bed. Usually I'm asleep before she gets there.
Apparently bubble wrap is all sorts of fun to pounce on when you have retractable claws. I think it's all kinds of fun to step on, since I don't have retractable claws.
In non-cat-related news, tomorrow we might have an SOP meeting instead of an utter disaster. We've got four of the six necessary reports, including the one I was worried about, and now all I have to do is reconfirm everybody's attendance and order food for 25 (which nobody will eat). Usually we don't get reports until Tuesday lunchtime for a Tuesday afternoon meeting, and I run around like mad copying votesheets and reports and collating things (and alphabetizing the tent cards with the SOP members' names on them, which always strikes me as a stupid thing to have to do. Some day I'll figure out how to keep them in order when I collect them after the meeting.)
I guess I should start thinking about what I want to wear this weekend so I can launder it before I pack it.
