D'oh!

This morning when I picked up my bag, I heard my keys fall. Silly me thought nothing of it, because my keys live in the outer flap pocket, and I had just flipped the outer flap over, and they always make a noise when I do that.

So I get to work and discover a distinct lack of keys. Which means I'm locked out of both my apartment, because the building and apartment doors all lock from the inside, and my office, because my office door key is on the same ring as my house keys. So I had to wait until our receptionist got in, because she has a key for the office manager's office, because the office manager has a key for my office.

So here I am in my office (finally), and I sent email to my landlady and told her I'm an idiot, and hopefully we can arrange something so I can get in when I get home tonight.

The keys I couldn't find were in a different pocket of the bag I had with me all day.

ARGH.
