in which domestic stuff has happened

I stuffed a whole chicken with a couple of cut up lemons and several sprigs of rosemary, and rubbed it with lemon juice and then with garlic pounded with salt, and roasted the whole works, and my GODS is that good! It needed a little more rosemary, but I can fix that next time.
Today was a day for Getting Things Done, because that was supposed to be yesterday and wasn't. I went to the grocery store and the hardware store and the mall, and obtained food and a new tension rod for the bottom of the not-a-door curtain (funny how tension rods stop working when a certain party with fuzzy feet hits them at about 40 mph) and a pair of new jeans. And then I came home and finally hung up art all over the place. It looks a bit more like I live here now, and I didn't ruin a single wall in the process. I also discovered that I have a lot more wall space than I thought. Maybe I ought to get some of my unframed embroidery framed.
In the process of getting to the T stop to go to the mall, I encountered a set of my Deschenes relatives moving one of my cousins into an apartment around the corner from me. I bet either we'll never see each other, or she'll be on the same bus with me every morning from now on.
