no, we are not having fun yet...

It appears to be Technology Hates Me day. iTunes hates me at home and the Exchange server hates everybody at work. I can't get into Outlook at all. Which means I can't get at my email and the four calendars I need. Which basically means I can't do anything productive at all until the server gets sorted out.

Much better. I've imported my Firefox bookmark file, found the missing half of my iTunes files and put them where iTunes can find them, and downloaded OpenOffice so I can write without putting a very old version of MS Office on this beast.

And our IT liaison says we're getting a major email upgrade on Sunday, so the Exchange server problems should go away after tomorrow.

(I've also had dinner, and am not at work, where the A/C has been nonfunctional for a month or so now. It's amazing how food improves one's outlook.)
