on to the next thing(s)
Sep. 20th, 2008 02:14 pmAfter the week I've had, I want a really serious recharge. Like a spa retreat, only more for the brain than for the rest of me. I'm not sure what that entails, but I'm leaning toward something with brunch and incense involved in it (separately).
Speaking of recharging, my hair is finally long enough to stay up when I put it there, although it makes the silliest little stubby ponytail I've ever had in my life. I got a lot of compliments on the length it was before it was long enough to put up, but I want it at least the length it is now. I like being able to take a bath without dipping the ends of my hair in it.
Snip is done with the medicine they sent her home with, and would very much like to be done with the lampshade, which she gets to keep on until next Saturday morning. She's eating like a horse and bringing me puffballs again and generally acting like there's nothing wrong with her (although I despair of her ever developing common sense).
My new second-floor neighbors on the downhill side seem to have put some variety of potted palm tree out on their porch. I wonder if they think it's going to survive out there?
