old business and new business
Oct. 22nd, 2008 02:06 pmUpdates from the last post:
- The laundry has made it upstairs and been folded.
- The soup has been made. And it's exactly what I wanted, which is tremendously satisfying.
- The MSPCA billing department is looking into the erroneous bill for acupuncture.
- The October SOP meeting is over with, and the November meeting looks to be considerably less of a pain in the neck. (I shouldn't have said that, should I?)
New stuff:
- The floors are definitely cold now. I know this because Lily is back to leaping into the warm bathtub after I've taken a bath and drained it.
- I love my new jacket. Among other things, it doesn't feel like I'm taking up a seat and a half on the bus when I'm wearing it.
- It feels like it should be later than Wednesday, but I think that's mostly the weather.
- My formerly ex-boss comes back on November 17, or so I'm told. It's nice to be told things like that.
- I wonder, if I get an oil delivery next week, what it will cost.
- I'm getting the idea that Harvard would really like it if I participated in the staff survey. There are posters and magnets all over the building, and they've sent me two emails and a postcard this week. (Yes, I took the survey.)
