things to look back at and forward to
Nov. 10th, 2008 10:54 amThe only thing from the previous list that didn't get done was calling the oil company, because the tank gauge says the tank is 3/4 full, and I can live with that. Particularly because when the thermostat is set at 60, the actual temperature hovers around 64. The Hairy Beasts sit around with all their feet tucked in, and I give them grief about not being able to get around since they don't seem to have any feet.
I spent Saturday doing laundry and running around and being useful, and Sunday doing a lot of not much. It's almost a waste of time being at work today, because I have tomorrow off and then I have jury duty on Wednesday. Anything I start today won't get finished until Thursday. Or, if I'm lucky, Wednesday afternoon.
My formerly-ex-boss comes back next week. I can't wait. I've reported directly to four different people over the past year (my formerly-ex-boss, the Associate Dean and the other Program Director at the same time, and the new person we decided not to keep), and a little stability would be a lovely thing.
