in which I am Carnivorous, Damn It
Mar. 19th, 2009 04:51 pmConsidering I live less than a mile from the Stockyard and work less than a mile from a Longhorn (there's one in the movie theater building at Kenmore), you'd think it wouldn't be that hard to do something about the desire to consume a large slab of dead steer, wouldn't you?
Unfortunately, large slabs of dead steer are expensive no matter how you obtain them, and I would rather pay to let somebody else cook one for me once in a while rather than pay for a raw one, cook it myself and possibly ruin it (I'm not all that good at cooking meat, for lack of budget and therefore lack of practice).
In light of the week I've been having, however, I intend to pay somebody else to cook me a large slab of dead steer tonight.
So there.
