Jun. 2nd, 2009 03:12 pmI was a good kid and rescheduled, rather than canceled, my dentist appointment. I rescheduled it for after the July SOP meeting besides, so I might actually have time to go to the dentist at that point.
I started today with leaving home at 7:30 for an 8:15 appointment at BIDMC. Medical appointments being what they are, I sat around in the waiting room for 20 minutes, but the actual appointment was interesting. I know that radiologists aren't allowed to tell you anything, so I didn't ask, but I'm taking it as a good sign that nobody said "What on earth is THAT?" (Which I suppose would fall under "not allowed to tell me anything", so they probably can't say that either.)
If it wanted to be naptime, that would be nice. It seems to be one of life's ironies that when you're a kid you fight tooth and nail against naptime, and when you're an adult you want naptime when you can't have it. If I can't have naptime, I wouldn't mind some writing time; I keep running out of day on weekends before I get around to doing any writing.
