It's performance review time again. Whee. At least this should be the last one I have to do with the office manager instead of with the person I actually work for.

Since I've disappeared for large chunks of the past two weekends, Lily has turned into a furry little limpet. I wouldn't mind so much if it didn't mean she wants to sit on me while I'm trying to sleep. I think she would have gotten in the shower with me this morning if she could have done it without getting her feet wet. Silly beast. I spent yesterday lounging around at home, embroidering and watching bad movies and being watched by cats in case I evaporated.

Now that it seems to be cooking weather again, I want to make a Shaker lemon pie. The only problem with that is finding lemons that don't have armored rinds on them, because then it will be marmalade pie and I don't like marmalade that much. Where do cooking shows find those huge lemons with thin rinds?
