sound and fury and 31 FedEx envelopes

My brain, in its infinite helpfulness, waited until 11:15 last night and then went "Whee! I'm awake! Time to DO STUFF!" Of course, that was right after I had shut off the light so as to get some sleep. I finally managed to fall asleep at midnight. Then I woke up at 3:45, and then I woke up at 6:50 when the alarm went off.

Since this is a two-day week for me, I have crammed five days of work into it, and now I'm as caught up as I can get. The last thing I have to do, I won't get until approximately 4:55:30 today (because that's how the person I'm waiting to get it from always operates). It's a half-hour task, but next week will be too late for it and I'm the only one who can do it in half an hour.

I am SO glad I took all of tomorrow off, even though I'm not actually going anywhere until lunchtime...

[ETA: I got the last thing at 4:30, but left work at 5:45 because I got a 77-page CV to add to it before sending out seven copies by FedEx.]
