Well, not exactly. When I moved into this cube in October, it had two filing cabinets on the same side. I wanted one on each side, and couldn't have them because there's an electrical box in the way. So they had to find me a less deep filing cabinet so as not to interfere with the electrical box and its huge mahonkin cable, and that took until right before break.
Today, my new filing cabinet showed up, and the old one went away. I can turn around in my chair without knocking the paint off the corner of the second filing cabinet. Shocking.
It's kind of a shame I'm back at work again; I was just getting used to the idea of doing not much and now I'm back to dealing with three meetings at once. At least the sun is out. It's worse when the alarm goes off and some sort of precipitation is falling and the Hairy Beasts give me looks that mean "You're getting up? Are you crazy?" and go back to sleep.
Yep, I'm back at work, all right. I forgot about the 5:00 meeting today. At least I have leftover quiche for dinner so I don't have to cook when I get home.
