Mar. 18th, 2011 03:03 pmTGIF. Especially since this is the third Work Week of Epic Proportions in a row, and I'm tired. Can we book today's weather for a return engagement tomorrow, so I have some time to enjoy it? It is entirely too nice out today to be inside all day reading P&R files.
I have finally experienced Korean fried chicken, and although last night wasn't the best night I could have picked to do it (at least it wasn't St. Patrick's Day and Friday at the same time, or Allston would have been impassable), I'm in favor of Korean fried chicken. At least when they don't drown it in sweet chili sauce. Some things are supposed to be sweet, but fried chicken isn't one of them. Pickled daikon, on the other hand...
This weekend I am going to clean things, but after that I think I'm not going to do anything unless I feel like doing it. With any luck, the dog that lives upstairs and the Hairy Beasts I live with will let me sleep in tomorrow. I wish that dog had a mute button. If she's home alone and something wakes her up, she'll bark every 3-5 seconds for the next two hours. If she's home alone and something wakes her up at 7:30 AM, I'm getting up whether I want to or not. The Hairy Beasts generally let me sleep, though.
