Sep. 22nd, 2011 01:43 pmSince I accumulated four and a half hours of overtime on Monday and Tuesday, I practically got flung out the door at 5:00 yesterday. This was not a bad thing. The overtime wasn't a bad thing either, since I spent a little too much money all at once while I was on vacation and the ODOS Fund (tm
frozenrhino) is a little low. (Being able to sit on the new futon mattress and play with the new computer at the same time is nice, though.)
I had all these grand plans for cooking things for lunch this week, and none of them happened. Buying lunch for a week every so often is good for reminding me why I shouldn't do it. I'm not lacking for things to cook, but I was lacking for motivation to do it. I am now sufficiently motivated, but now I have to decide what I want to cook in particular.
As frustrated as I am with the network file server outages we've been having at work this week, I bet I'm nowhere near as frustrated as the IT department is. (Partly because we keep calling them and saying our network drives still aren't there, or have disappeared again, right after they tell us they're back.)
