Nov. 22nd, 2011 02:52 pmI thought today was going to be the Tuesday From Hell, but so far it's not as hellish as it could be. I just wish I knew when it would end. Mostly I wish it would end closer to 5:00 than to 7:30. At least we canceled the morning P&R meeting for December, so we only have to set one agenda this afternoon. Of course, we can't start until late this afternoon because it wouldn't be agenda-setting day without three hours of hurry up and wait.
Now I have another reason to want today over sooner than later: my embroidery is framed, and I want to see how it came out. The woman who called to tell me it was done says it's gorgeous. Unfortunately the store closes at 6:00, so I ain't gettin' there today. (I have to decide where to hang the thing, anyway.)
At least the Hairy Beasts will be glad to see me at the end of the day, whenever that turns out to be. They were confused this morning when I sprang (well, sort of) out of bed an hour early, but at least they were up too. It's worse when I get up and they look at me like I'm insane and then go back to sleep.
