(no subject)

Willpower is getting a new mattress on a Sunday afternoon and not taking the opportunity to lounge around in bed until the following Saturday morning. There will be lounging tomorrow, dammit. (I'm still not used to the fact that the new mattress is thicker than the old mattress and box spring put together. Granted the old set was sneaking up on 20 years old, and that's what you buy when you're a newly minted undergrad and you don't have all that much money, but...)

There might also be a massage, since my left shoulder tied itself into a hatchet knot last Saturday and didn't untie until Wednesday, and various other bits of me are sore from working around that. (And I'd really like to know how I got the bruise on my left kneecap.) I spent most of a dream last night screaming in frustration at various people, which I take to mean I could use less tension in general. I'll take less tension in my shoulders, to start with.

According to the Highly Helpful Family Calendar, today is National Mutt Day. I'm all for mutts; in fact, I've never had a pet that wasn't. (The fish weren't quite pets, but they don't count in any case because I don't think fish cross-breed.)

Where does one get coloring books these days? I have all these brand-new crayons and no coloring books. This situation can't be allowed to continue. So there.
