Oogh. I did not make the best use of time this weekend.

Saturday started all right; I got up and went wandering off to Harvard Square because I hadn't been there in ages. It was a glorious day for wandering, too. I wandered home by way of Coolidge Corner, and made an appointment for a massage on Sunday. So that was all good.

When I got home from wandering, I found that the fuel delivery elves had been there and left me a bill, which was less good. It gave me impetus to pay all the bills, but now I know how much money I haven't got. I'm not even close to flat broke, but I feel that way. Time to stop throwing money around for a while.

Saturday night I got absorbed in a book and didn't go to sleep until 2:00 Sunday morning, and then my brain went "OK! Awake now!" at 7:30. That meant that by the time I had to leave for my voice lesson, all I wanted was a nap. It's a good thing I wasn't going to drive anywhere. But I got through the voice lesson, and actually learned something (to wit, which ab muscles are supposed to move in which directions, and what it feels like when I do it right), and then went off to the massage appointment. The person who did the massage was quite nice, but I don't think I need another massage from that person. Lesson learned.

After I got home (and fed the cats, who were convinced they hadn't eaten since the Nixon administration), I had to do something about lunch for this week. So I made baked penne with little tiny meatballs. It came out pretty well, all things considered. I even got the kitchen cleaned up at a reasonable hour. I guess that means I win?
