Jan. 5th, 2013 08:11 pmI am tired of waking myself up coughing (this is the third day of that), tired of my throat feeling like it's been sandpapered (this is the eighth day of that), tired of the way my sinuses won't clear out completely, and most of all tired of becoming exhausted every time I have to actually do anything. I went to work for two days with roughly half a brain, because the other half was either stuck in my throat or running out of my nose. This afternoon I went out to get my hair cut and go grocery shopping, and by the time I was done I wanted to go home and crawl into bed. And I didn't get out of bed this morning until 11:00 to begin with. (I lie, actually; I got out of bed at 8:00 for cough syrup and ibuprofen, but I wasn't up yet.) Maybe I would be getting better if I could have two consecutive days when I didn't have to get out of bed. Unfortunately, since I have P&R on Tuesday, that's not an option.
It's good that I don't get sick that often, but it means that when I do get sick, I've forgotten how much being sick sucks, and therefore I complain a lot.
