(no subject)

We were allowed to leave work early today, so I left at 3:15ish. I managed to buy cat food and get home before it rained, but now it's raining, and it seems to be fairly serious about it. This is putting a bit of a crimp in my half-formed plan to get takeout pizza for dinner. (Yes, I know there's such a thing as delivery, but (a) the pizza place is four blocks away, so why would I wait half an hour for them to come here when I can walk there in ten minutes, and (b) I'm not positive that my doorbell works.)

The other problem is, I'm beat. It's been a long week for two weeks now. Even if I had a car, I wouldn't trust myself to drive it at the moment. So either the pizza's coming here, or there isn't going to be any pizza. I suspect there isn't going to be any pizza.
