Jan. 10th, 2014 11:11 amMade it to Friday again. Thank goodness, because if this week were any longer, I think there might be a homicide. Yesterday there was a kerfuffle between a faculty member and the room scheduling person, and that was rehashed all over the office for the rest of the afternoon. The faculty member came back to apologize after the room scheduling person had left for the day, and rehashed the whole thing with somebody else in the office. This morning the faculty member came in to apologize again, and THAT is now being rehashed all over the office. I think I might put my earbuds in, because I've hit my limit for hearing about it.
Meanwhile the Visiting Committee, and the Feb 14 faculty retreat, and the new curriculum blueprint, and the start of classes, and the MedEd Portal submission, and no ladies' room since Monday, and...it's been a long week. At least I managed to get a lot of stuff done, including getting my teeth cleaned here instead of in Cambridge. I still have to finish the bank shuffle, but I can do that on Monday.
I keep waiting for it to be "warm", by which I mean "above freezing", and it keeps not getting there. Between that and the fact that it's either cold, cloudy or dark every time I go outdoors for the last two weeks, I'm inclined to run off for a week to anywhere that doesn't know about snow. Preferably somewhere I can drink the water.
