dchenes: (katana)
First world problem: the medical establishment keeps sending me off-cycle bills and I keep having to remember to pay them. I So far I've paid for the night guard initial exam and the ER visit for my ankle. That's part of the reason I haven't done anything about my shoulder yet. (The other part being that I suspect it's a case of "It hurts when I do this." "Well, don't do that!", and the "that" in question is things like carrying grocery bags and laundry baskets, and rolling over in bed and landing on that side. Normal life, in other words.)

Ye gods, this WEEK! Why is it my problem that MedEdPortal wants attributions for all images in all lecture slides submitted? I didn't make the slides, so I don't know where the images came from, and "oh, I got them from this other lecture" (which didn't attribute them either) isn't an answer I can do anything with. And I need to fix this before the end of March. If I remove all the unattributed images, all that will be left is the slide titles and then MedEdPortal will probably say it's not worth publishing that and we'll have to start over. At this point I'm just about ready to get an anatomy book and scan it. Why didn't I take today as a personal day, like I threatened to on Wednesday?

OK. Breathing. In both directions. One foot in front of the other and eventually it will be over with, and as long as I do what I can, I've done what I can. And more good news: tonight I get a massage, and this month I sprang for the 90-minute version, so maybe my neck will really get sorted out for once. And I have the ingredients for green apple slaw at home and as long as I take it easyish on the sour cream (WW approves of sour cream more than mayo), I can eat quite a lot of that for and/or with dinner. Green apple slaw and almonds is dinner, right?
