Second straight day without a headache. I could get used to this.

It's slightly harder to get used to the weather, because it's the kind of rain and wind that laughs at umbrellas. At least I know there are dry towels at home, so it doesn't really matter how soaked I get. Besides, even if I do get wet, I'll hopefully be walking on wet pavement instead of on wet ice. Although if I did own a drysuit, this would be pretty much ideal weather for it. I wonder what sort of strange looks I would get if I got on the bus wearing a drysuit.

Speaking of wearing things, the second of my four extant 3/4 sleeve shirts ended up with a hole in the elbow when it came out of the dryer last night. The only thing to be done about that was to order some more shirts, so I did that last night too. What I would really like is more sweaters, but that seems to be difficult, especially because I gave up on cardigans ages ago; if they're meant to be buttoned, they gape. Same problem I have with Oxford shirts, although I would rather wear Oxford shirts than cardigans.

If it's still pouring tomorrow, it's going to be Clean Out the Closet Day. It's not that the closet is overflowing, it just needs weeding out. And now I have half a trash bag of frapped-out jeans and underwear, and shirts with holes in the elbows, anyway, so I might as well add the too-small linen blazer with one sun-faded sleeve, and so forth. Too bad I don't have a hobby that requires a lot of rags.
