Yesterday was enough to make my head explode. I got all the way to the T station in the morning and was watching the train come over the hill, and then couldn't find my T pass in my pocket. So I hiked back home, found the pass exactly where I'd left it, hiked back to the station, and finally got on the train. Then I got to work and discovered that somebody on the Medford campus had deleted one of the dental assistants from the payroll software because technically her I-9 form expired in November. Of course they didn't tell me anything about this, and this assistant won't get paid next week and will scream at me for it. And that was just the first hour of yesterday. On top of that, nothing with a microchip in it agreed with me all day. Both printers at work started acting screwy, and then I went home and crashed OS X. AARGH. At least I managed to replace the black ink in my home printer without getting it everywhere.

Today is somewhat better, although it's insane here, since it's Tuesday. It's always at least mildly insane on Tuesdays. It's nice to have the week between Xmas and New Year's off, but the trick is going to be surviving until then. Whew
