in which solid objects are falling apart
May. 9th, 2005 11:30 amARGH!
I already knew my wardrobe was falling apart. Just now while I was trying to find someplace convenient to hang a shirt I just ironed, I discovered that my bookshelf is falling apart. So sometime soonish (like this evening) I have to take everything off the bookshelf, take the shelves out, knock the thing over and nail the back on again.
ARGH, I say.
[EDIT 12:35: As long as I was going ARGH anyway, and sitting around twitching, I decided to deal with the bookshelf sooner rather than later. Good thing, too, because it was about ready to fall down the next time I sneezed at it, and it happened to have my stereo sitting on top of it. That would have been a bad scene all around. So I had the discussion with the bookshelf, and took out some of my frustration and nerves on hammering nails into the thing, and things in general are somewhat calmer around here.]
