There's something mildly ironic about going out to buy an umbrella and just barely missing getting rained on en route, and then having the sun come out on the way home. (It didn't stay that way, so I'm vindicated for having bought the umbrella.)

Dark chocolate peanut M&Ms are evil. I discovered that yesterday.

I also lost track of the spider in my kitchen yesterday. I have no idea why I looked at the ceiling right when I did, but when I did, there he was. Fortunately he seems to be a flavor of spider that travels by foot, instead of by silk, so even though he was making me rather uncomfortable, at least he wasn't coming down to my level. Anyway, he proceeded to tromp around on the ceiling for a while, and I lost track of him when he went behind the fridge, so I hope he doesn't reappear anywhere all of a sudden. (Yes, I know, it's ridiculous for something that size to scare the living daylights out of something my size, but it does, and that's that.)

The interest rate on the loan I have to start paying again in two weeks went down three points while it was deferred. That's nice of it. I wonder who I have to threaten with grievous bodily harm in order to get information about the other one so I can see about consolidating both of them before July 1?

so, if I get things in the mail about consolidating my loans, that's a good thing?

They always seemed sort of scamm-y. So consolidating before July is good?
Or is this just once you've graduated?

Consolidating your loans is a good thing, but probably most of the junk mail is from fly-by-nights. I'd see if there's a government program.

The problem is, I'm in the grace period for my second loan, so nobody's sending me any information about it because I don't have to start paying it back yet.
