lazy Saturday (and Sunday so far)

dchenesI had all sorts of stuff I was going to do yesterday, and didn't do any of it, because I got sucked into a Civ III game that actually went well for once. (I really need a new kneeling chair; this one is getting uncomfortable to sit on for that long.)
The mail from CT finally showed up. Thank goodness. It wasn't damaged or anything, so I suspect it just fell out of a container somewhere and lay around on the floor for a couple of days, or something like that. The lesson, according to my mother, is to send anything important from the West Mystic post office, which actually cares whether the mail gets to where it's going.
Tomorrow I have to go to the bank and call the utility companies, and see if I can't sweet-talk the reference librarians into letting me borrow dictionaries for three hours. I think there's something else on that list, too, but I've forgotten it.
