*poof*, I'm a slug...
Jun. 24th, 2005 12:21 pmI have to remember to go pick up the dictionaries this afternoon for the exam tomorrow, which starts at 9:00, but they tell you to be there half an hour early. (I know why they do it, but having an exam at 9:00 on a Saturday morning is fairly evil. Not that it matters to me at the moment whether it's a weekend day or not...) I've got the dictionaries until Monday, and if I could afford to do it, I would run off to Wordsmith and have the entire FR-EN volume of Routledge's Technical Dictionary copied. But I can't afford that many copies, and Wordsmith would probably have fits at me about it anyhow.
Today I should really figure out what I'm going to eat for the next week and what kitchen stuff I need in order to cook whatever it is. Having done that, I can pack most of the rest of the kitchen stuff, and most of the rest of the bedding. (That really does make sense; I pack fragile kitchen stuff in sheets and pillowcases instead of buying newsprint, at least until I run out of sheets. It's all going to the same place anyway.)
Ye gods, I want this over with. I want to be in Roxbury swearing about unpacking and figuring out where the grocery store is and all like that there sort of stuff. Which reminds me, I have to call NStar today too, if I want electricity in the new place before I get there.
Getting all this stuff done would be a lot easier if I had any motivation whatsoever today.
