dchenesBetter. Tonight I decided that what I needed was to be me and be around people at the same time. I'm decidedly not me when I'm at work, and I'm not quite me when I'm with other people socially lately.
I took myself to Harvard Square, and proved that it's faster to take two trains to get there than it is to take the bus. Anyway, once I got there, I went to EMS looking for bike shorts liners (greatest under-skirt garments there are, only they didn't have any), went to Bartley's just to prove I remembered where it was (and decided I didn't want dinner there after all), went to Pandemonium looking for nothing in particular and came away with Inversions by Iain Banks, went to Pho Pasteur and had spring rolls and wonton soup for dinner, went to Ben & Jerry's and got dessert, and came home again.
The idea of being able to pay rent next month as of yesterday, and the rest of the bills for next month as of next Wednesday, is a lovely thought.
