dchenesNice of the payroll office to tell me I can view a pay stub online for a check they haven't direct-deposited yet. So now I know what's going to hit my bank account, but I don't know whether it'll hit on Thursday night (that would be nice) or on Friday. (I'm not overdrawn yet, and I have no idea why not unless I forgot something. Not complaining, just bemused.)
Today at work is a long game of "hurry up and wait". I've run out of things to get done, and I haven't gotten anything large back yet. I'm waiting for two different people to get back from two different places so they can give me back all the stuff I gave them last week. We're supposed to be sending a huge order off to be printed today, and that's what I'm waiting on corrections for. I'm going to be REALLY busy for a while when I get it all back, and I hope that's sooner rather than later.
In the meantime, I'm making a list of the stuff I can never remember when I'm at home. I haven't had this job long enough to have a list at home of the stuff I can never remember at work.
