What you can do with a four-day week

Not that there aren't things I'd rather be doing than going to work, mind you, but if I have to go to work, this is a good sort of work to go to. I'm still amazed every time I come out of a staff meeting and the general tone of the feedback I got was "wow, you got a lot done this week, hooray for you and keep at it!"
So what did I do this week?
- Nailed down three committees
- Got one of my problem-child committees put off for a while (it fell apart completely; not my fault)
- Got all but one person nailed down for a fifth committee (and I'll get him on Monday)
- Started rescheduling the sixth for the third time (this is my other problem child)
- Asked the seventh what the deal was and got an acceptable answer
- Started scheduling an eighth committee
- Collated, photocopied and mailed eight copies of 100 pages of stuff for each of the first three committees
- Condensed and archived the documentation for six people who are now at the end of the process
- Scanned a mess of letters for SOP packets
- Put together three SOP packets except for the reports that aren't written yet
- Started designing a document tracking database
Not bad for a four-day week.
Still gotta do laundry, and go grocery shopping, because I think this weekend I'm going to make something quichelike for lunch next week. (And gotta go back to the Super 88 and find out if they've still got enormous apples for cheap, because the Stop & Shop apples I bought for this week aren't nearly as good. I would've gone tonight, but I'm too tired for an odyssey like that.)
I think I'm not going to go to chorus rehearsals for this cycle, because that would mean that every other week, I wouldn't have an evening at home until Friday unless I gave up going to Diesel. Chorus on Monday, Diesel on Tuesday, trombone lesson on Wednesday, work late on Thursday. I don't really want to do that to myself.
