dchenesI think my new boots are the equivalent of Calvin's lucky rocket ship underpants. It's being a surprisingly good day for a wet and cloudy Monday. (The only problem with the boots is that they leak, as I discovered last night, but that's my fault for wearing them in the pouring rain in the first place.)
The real test is whether I can ask for 50-odd financial guarantee letters without making four hospitals hate me (Dana Farber hates me already). I might as well get that over with now and call committees for updates after lunch.
The problem with Cheerios for breakfast at 7:20 is that I'm hungry again at 10:30, and then I eat too much lunch, or the day goes weird and I end up not eating much lunch and then eating too much dinner.
I really did mean to practice the trombone last week. The week seems to have sneaked off when I wasn't looking, though, because here it is Monday again and I haven't touched the trombone since last Monday. Oops.
