how to kickstart a Friday

dchenesThis morning I encountered a grillionpede in the bathtub. (A grillionpede is actually a house centipede, which is supposed to be a good (or at least harmless) thing to have. However, they're largish and brown and have way too many legs.) My immediate thought was, "Well, I don't REALLY need a shower this morning, do I?". I did, so I disposed of the grillionpede. I washed it down the tub drain, which really wasn't nice of me, but I couldn't think of any other way to get rid of it.
Having started the day off that way, it's got to get better. And it did, as soon as I set foot outdoors. This is the sort of weather I love, and it seems to have inspired almost all of the women in my office (including me) to wear skirts today.
Hooray, my two holdout SOP packets are finally coming together!
