Mar. 9th, 2003 10:23 pmMy kingdom for a three-day weekend!
OK, so Saturday, I went off to a delightful pool party in Uxbridge. WAY too much food, and a very good time, except for three things. (1) I seem to have dropped my phone out of my pocket when I got out of the car in Uxbridge at 11ish in the morning. When I found it, it was midnight, and the phone had been lying in the melting-snow runoff since I'd dropped it, so now I need a new phone. (2) When I got out of the pool, I went into the bathroom to change, slipped on a wet spot on the floor and massacred my right knee. (3) When I got home at 1 AM, I slipped on the ice on the sidewalk and landed hard on my left side, and massacred my left shin, knee, hip and shoulder. Nothing is broken, but I feel bruised all over.
Today I got up, went to the grocery store, came home, had a nap for about three hours, hung around some, had dinner, hung around some more, and now it's 10:30 and I still haven't done any laundry. And when I went to the grocery store, I forgot to bring my prescription with me, so I have to do that tomorrow after work (grr, argh.)
I don't know that I'd get anything done tomorrow if I did stay home, but I'd like to have the option.
