the abridged version of yesterday

I had things I was going to go out and do today, but since (a) it looks like it's going to rain any second now, (b) I'm having a slow morning and haven't gotten as far as taking a shower yet, and (c) my back is giving me grief, I think I'll stay in and clean things.

Consider this a placeholder for talking about what happened yesterday, which included roughly 30 lb of rabbits, a song that finally got unstuck from the back of my brain, Blue Ribbon barbecue ribs, key lime pie, Wallace & Gromit, and the cold I am NOT getting, dammit.

I don't think it's your cold; I started wondering if I was getting one on Friday morning. There seem to be several versions of it, and one of my co-workers has a kid in daycare, so of course she gets every cold there is and brings them all to the office.
