I haven't seen any signs of mice in here since I did the whole stove-moving thing. So when I started hearing strange noises in the kitchen last night, I thought they were trying to come back in again. No sign of any this morning, though. Tonight I heard the noise again, and went and moved the stove again, and drove the corner of the oven door handle into my left thigh, hard. That's gonna bruise like mad. I did, however, figure out what the noise was. Yesterday I opened the kitchen door, since it was so warm out, and didn't lock it again when I shut it. The wind sneaks around the edges of the seal around the door when it isn't locked.

I've really got to stop getting bruises. Last time, I was helping my aunt clear a smallish fallen tree out of their back yard, and my right leg and the end of a branch wanted to occupy the same space simultaneously. File, as I said, under Stop That.
