starting a resolution early...
I just took three feet of books I'll probably never read again out of the bookcase in my bedroom. Now I have to figure out how to get them out of my living room. I wish there was a library with a swap table around here. (I wonder if the Parker Hill branch library has one?)
In case this makes a difference
Also, if the books are recent enough and in good enough condition, they might decide to add them to replace lost items or fill a hole in the collection.
So, in short, I'd recommend giving them a call and finding out if they're accepting donations. Here's the appropriate URL: http://bpl.org/branches/parker.htm, and Becky Manos is a wonderful person to chat with.

If you have books that qualify for that, I'll come and get them and drop them off there for you.

I've sent out more than 130 books, and gotten back more than 100 so far. Yes, there is the cost of shipping, and the trips to the post office, but other than that, it has worked great!!!
