I just took three feet of books I'll probably never read again out of the bookcase in my bedroom. Now I have to figure out how to get them out of my living room. I wish there was a library with a swap table around here. (I wonder if the Parker Hill branch library has one?)

In case this makes a difference

They might. Many of the branches have at least a small table for donated books or an ongoing book sale. Proceeds from branch book sales go directly to the branches' petty cash, not to Copley or the City.

Also, if the books are recent enough and in good enough condition, they might decide to add them to replace lost items or fill a hole in the collection.

So, in short, I'd recommend giving them a call and finding out if they're accepting donations. Here's the appropriate URL: http://bpl.org/branches/parker.htm, and Becky Manos is a wonderful person to chat with.
