hopeful signs

dchenesHalf an hour ago, it occurred to me that I was starving. I haven't been hungry since the 28th or so.
I haven't had a fever in two days.
I slept for an uninterrupted six hours last night, meaning I didn't wake myself up coughing after the bedtime cough medicine dose wore off.
My ears are less unhappy about being connected to my throat (although I had to resort to Advil for a while to make them shut up).
I sound awful, and there's still a lot of gunk in my lungs, but maybe my immune system is finally catching up with this thing.
