dchenesI know that it's January. However, I have been cold since Friday, and I want it to stop. I particularly want there to stop being less than ten minutes of hot water available when I want to take a shower in the morning, after hauling myself out of my nice new flannel sheets and into the absolutely unheated bathroom with the tile floor. I want steam, dammit, not almost-thinking-about-lukewarm.
In cheerier news, I did my federal taxes yesterday, and they owe me about $460. That'll put something of a dent in the credit card bill. I haven't done the state ones yet, because they sent me the wrong forms. I'm not a part-year resident this year.
Oh, and the new flannel sheets are just lovely.
AND, I finally got around to buying some replacement bootlaces that actually work. One of the original pair broke, and the first set of replacements were my leftover six-foot tabard-lacing bootlaces, which were way the hell too long. So now I have less ridiculously long bootlaces, and that makes me happy.
