set the clock, I'm going to complain

I am most displeased by the weather forecast for the coming week (high of 14 tomorrow, with wind chill around -14). I hate winter mostly because it takes me at least an hour to warm up again when I get cold. Everybody always says "in the winter you can always put on more clothes", but that doesn't work for me. I get cold and put on more clothes and I'm still cold. And then if I have to go outside after that, I have to take off some of the clothes I put on to warm up, and I get cold(er) again. Since I'm dependent on public transportation, I spend a fair bit of time waiting for it, and that doesn't help either. (Insert rant here about non-windproof and non-waterproof bus shelters, when there are shelters at all. I swear, the people who designed the silly things live where the temperature never drops below freezing and it never rains.)

BRRR, dammit.
