compos mentis, mostly
I woke up this morning feeling better. Better enough to make plans of a sort, anyway. Since I have the 19th off, I'm taking the 16th off too and turning it into a 4-day weekend. That gives me a little more time to play with, besides. Even if I only go to Noank, at least it will be a change of scenery, and maybe I'll do something really silly like bring one of the bread recipes I've been dying to try and make bread in a kitchen designed for it.
I also let my instant-gratification demon out last night and ordered some stuff from Amazon, and sprung for two-day shipping. That means I have to take a couple of hours off tomorrow afternoon to come home and wait for the UPS man, or I won't get the stuff until I can get to the UPS depot in Southie on Monday night, and that defeats the purpose of (almost) instant gratification. (I love the fact that I can do stuff like that as long as I ask first.)

And on a completely different subject, would you pass along the following to your cousin: http://www.xericfoundation.com/ (Courtesy of Neil Gaiman's blog. Its a foundation that gives out money to those who are trying to self-publish a graphic novel. They have given out $2million in funds since 1992)

(Anonymous) 2007-02-12 02:54 pm (UTC)(link)I guess that means I don't have to activate the Friendly Neighborhood Reminder Service, which has been known to show up with a spontaneous marching band by way of reminding people of things... :)
