I would not be in the least surprised if the "perpetually freezing" diminished your immune system this past winter.
(*) I was off to church, a wedding, the reception, the post-reception in-hotel hanging-out, and driving friend to airport in the morning. Gone from home nearly 24 hours. I took today off from work, thank goodness!
