dchenesIt's gotten ridiculous when you have to beg a coworker to go down to the cafeteria and get you a tuna sandwich at 1:30, because you know you aren't going to have time to go get any lunch yourself. After the sandwich arrived, it sat on my desk for an hour and a half before I had time to actually eat it. I wish I'd had a camera, because I would've taken a picture of my desk and posted it here and had you all play "find the sandwich". If I hadn't seen where it got put, I wouldn't have found it either. It was wrapped in white deli paper, and my desk was absolutely covered in white meeting-related paper.
It's slightly less awful now, because the Thursday meeting packets have gone out, and the SOP report-and-votesheet packets are downstairs in the SOP meeting, and the next-Tuesday packets are on the counter behind me.
Whose bright idea was it to have a staff meeting at 9 AM tomorrow for an hour and a half? Oh yeah. Mine. I set up the schedule. Memo to self: don't do that the morning after the SOP meeting.
