I feel your pain. After a week plus one day of mindless work, I'm starting to understand why people end up on the top of belltowers with rifles. And that's not even permanent work with, like, benefits.
Definitely start looking for another job - and possibly even look at other grad programs that might work? At this point, I've sent out so many resumes that I know I have to find a new tack, I'm just not sure what it is. Leave your job on your terms - not theirs. I made that mistake once. Never again.
