Still breathing in both directions (in and out), which is good.

I now have a List of Stuff to get done before Friday night. I even got all the Wednesday stuff done last night, which is a shock. Tonight's list involves a lot of cleaning things.

Last night I also had the best dinner I've had in ages. I got home and it turned out that Hillary had had a hateful day too, and Liz was having a "technology hates me" day, so all three of us went out for dinner. We went to Jasmine, on Market St. in Brighton. It's a teeny little place with a Hungarian, French and Middle Eastern menu. We all split an order of mushrooms in paprika sauce (which I found to be about medium hot, which means for the rest of the world it would be mild), and then I had something called Chicken Forestiere, which was on the Hungarian section of the menu. It was sort of like paprikash, in that it came over noodles and had some of the same spices in it. Whatever all was in it, though, it was marvelous. The waiter recited the dessert menu, and we had it all settled as to who was going to order what, and then he came back and said "Oh, I forgot one" and then described a dark chocolate mousse made with 72% cocoa content Belgian chocolate. So of course I ordered that, and when I tasted it all I could say was "Yowza". Dinner and dessert for three, without alcohol (because we didn't have any) but including tip, came to $92. It ain't cheap, but ye gods is it good! Guess where I'm going for my birthday?

I managed to find the name of the hotel, so I don't need to be shot any more. I do, however, need a vacation. As I said, I'm looking forward to the 25th, when I can wake up in the morning and know I've got the next day off and I don't have to do a damn thing for two days if I don't want to.
