dchenesIt's really too bad that Whole Paycheck is the nearest grocery store to home. I can't yet afford to make a habit of that. (I had a very good cucumber/avocado/watercress/feta spread sandwich for lunch, though.)
I think Lily is having a fit of insecurities. She seems to have to be in my immediate vicinity today. (As I type, I have the computer on one leg and the cat asleep on the other.) It's very cute, but she's been up and down between the back of the futon and my lap at least six times, and she comes down by walking down my front. There are definitely places on my front I'd rather not have claws stuck in.
Work is going to be a mess for the next six weeks or so. Fortunately there are only five weeks until my week of vacation. All I have to do is get through the March 18 SOP meeting, which is in three weeks, and right now has 11 promotions on the agenda. As a general rule, I don't like the month of March very much and it isn't looking like this one is going to break the pattern.
I hope this is the last gasp for large amounts of snow. I'm ready for it not to be winter. I think some sort of flowers are in order, since I'm not quite in the mood to buy myself a balloon. (Nobody can be uncheered with a balloon.)
