dchenesIn the "well, DUH!" category, snowboarding jackets are waterproof. Which is why I own one as of Saturday. It was on sale, besides. Now I can wait for buses in the snow (or give up on waiting for buses and start walking in the snow) without getting soaked.
In other various categories:
- The new cat food seems to be acceptable to all parties.
- Snip has decided that being overtly friendly is OK.
- Doing laundry is all well and good, but if I never get it out of the drier, I still won't have any clean socks available.
- I swear the gods don't want certain people to get promoted. The October SOP meeting is full of them, so getting it over with tomorrow is going to be a huge relief.
- The MSPCA sent me an $80 invoice for acupuncture on Snip, which apparently happened the day she got her stitches out. Nobody ever said anything to me about that, and I certainly didn't ask for it. I hope somebody put the wrong code in somewhere.
- It's very cute to come out of the shower in the morning and find both cats sitting on the bathmat with identical "oh, THERE you are!" expressions.
- Tonight, I make soup. I wanted minestrone yesterday, but it got postponed for lack of beans.
