dchenesI just learned that when you twist the lead-advance mechanism of one of those really cheap Bic mechanical pencils in the wrong direction, it eventually pops the eraser out of the other end. And it makes a surprisingly loud *pop* when it does that.
This discovery is brought to you by the fact that I have filed the same pencil in at least two different folders by accident today, and have given up and gone and got some more pencils so I can find one when I want one. It's that sort of day.
