Apr. 24th, 2009 02:14 pmIs there a way to tell either Windows XP or Office 2003 that when I have a file open and minimized, and I open another file of the same type, I don't want the minimized file to restore itself? My Google-fu is failing me and Microsoft must win prizes for unhelpful help files.
In something like the same vein, it seems to be one of those weeks in which either I'm not speaking English, or the people to whom I'm speaking it aren't hearing English. It's getting extremely tiring. Fortunately today is Friday, and I won't have to attempt to communicate with any academic committees for two days.
I hope it's warmer out now than it was this morning. It would have been lovely this morning if the wind hadn't been cold.
ETA: Google is my friend again. It told me how to fix the Word file problem. And I was right; it has to do with XP, not with Word.
